Built around a practical toolkit developed by the AI Ethics and Governance Research Group (WP3), the programme will equip AI developers and deployers with legal knowledge, practical tools, and hands-on experience to:
embed Privacy by Design into their systems, and
Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments that comply with Nigerian law and international best practice
The workshop forms part of NAIRL, UNILAG’s mandate to foster research, innovation, and capacity development in Artificial Intelligence across disciplines.
