International Women’s Day is an annual event celebrated on the 8th of March, 2023; the theme for this year is “Embrace Equity” and it highlights the importance of gender equity in society. University of Lagos Women’s Society(ULWS) is set to mark this day with a special event at the ULWS Hall, UNILAG by 9 am.
The Chief Host of the event is Dr. Taiwo Ipaye and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos who is also the first female Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, FAS, will also be in attendance.
The Vice-Chancellor of the Lagos State University, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, will be at the event, amongst other extinguished guests.
