UNILAG Centre For Digital Humanities Wins Joint Grant

The University of Lagos Centre for Digital Humanities has jointly won a 5-year grant with the University of Verona, Italy.

The grant, which is awarded by the Italian Ministry of Research, is for a project entitled “Inclusive Humanities, Development Perspectives in Research and Teaching”.

The project tagged, “Project of Excellence 2023-2027”, has a value of appro7ximately 6.5million Euros and will run from 2023 to 2027.

The objective of the grant is to foster and promote inclusion in research, teaching, infrastructure and dissemination of scientific content in order to overcome gender, economic, social and cultural inequalities both within and outside the university.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, FAS, on behalf of the University community congratulates the UNILAG Centre for Digital Humanities for attaining this feat and being progressively visible to the international community.
