notable physician, Martin H. Fischer, once said: “All the world is a laboratory to the inquiring mind.”
Such, is the experience that await inquiring minds at the TEAM (Teaching, Entrepreneurship And Mentoring) Centre, Oke-Igbo, a research foundation founded by the 9th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Professor Tolu Olukayode Odugbemi, NNOM, OON.
Being a firm advocate of interacting with plants and the nature around us for higher learning and improvement of life as we know it, Professor Odugbemi also houses another of his initiatives, Tolu Odugbemi Medicinal Plant Gardens, inside the TEAM Centre. The goal is to promote learning, research, and conservation in people of all ages.
Researchers, educators, families, and schools are encouraged to visit the TEAM Centre, Oke-Igbo to reconnect with nature, learn, and experience the wonders of medicinal plants.
In honour of such a fruitful inquiring mind as that of Professor Odugbemi, former Registrar, University of Lagos, Dr. Mrs. Taiwo F. Ipaye, FNIM, and former Registrar, University of Ibadan, Chief Mrs. Omotayo Ikotun recently paid a courtesy visit to the TEAM Centre, Oke-Igbo. The visit was to tap from the abundance of his knowledge and tour the TEAM Centre.
