Federal Government Declares Dec. 25 & 26, Jan. 1,Public Holidays

The Federal Government has declared Monday and Tuesday, December, 25 and 26, 2023, as well as Monday, January 1, 2024, as public holidays to mark Christmas and New Year’s Day celebrations, respectively.

Consequently, offices of the University would be closed on these days. However, members of staff on essential services and those who are requested to be on duty by their Heads of Department/Unit should be at their duty posts.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, FAS, OON, wishes all members of the University community happy celebrations.
