Countdown to UNILAG-in-TOWN2 Begins as Creative Arts Students Prepare to Rock the Stage on June 9

The countdown to UNILAG-in-TOWN2 has begun as students of the Department of Creative Arts, University of Lagos (UNILAG) are set to perform Lekan Balogun’s Love and Colours in Depth on Saturday, June 9, 2024, at Terra Kulture, Plot 1376, Tiamiyu Savage Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Produced by the Chairman, UNILAG Culture and Ethics Committee, Dr. Seyi Kenny, and directed by Balogun AbdulWali, the stage play will be held in 2 sessions: 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

UNILAG in Town (a “Gown to Town” initiative of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, FAS,) debuted on Saturday, April 29, 2023, with the stage performance of Femi Osifisan’s Esu and the Vagabond Minstrels (Please click: https://unilag.edu.ng/?p=21357).

The initiative is borne out of the desire to bring activities from the academic community closer to people. It is aimed at celebrating, promoting, and re-igniting the love for culture and moral rebirth.
