The Muslim Community, University of Lagos, in collaboration with NUSRET Educational and Cultural Co. Ltd. and Hira Magazine, cordially invites members of the university community and the general public to an educational symposium on “Contemporary Approach to Crisis Management: Solutions from the Life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)”.
The symposium will hold on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at the Islamic Centre Hall, UNILAG Mosque, Akoka Campus, from 9AM to 1PM.
Sub-topics include:
- Islamic Approach to Economic Crisis (Prof. Hakeem Olaniyan, Dept. of Jurisprudence and International Law, UNILAG).
- Social Crisis Management: The Qur’an and Sunnah’s Paradigm in Promoting Dialogue and Peaceful Co-existence between Muslims and Non-Muslims (Dr. Maryam Gbajumo-Sheriff, Dept. of Employment Relations & Human Resource Management).
- Serving Humanity in Nigeria: Hizmet Movement as a Role Model (Ustadh Ahmad El Labeeb Imotola, Director, Haadhal-Bayt Islamic Foundation).
