While addressing members of the University Convocation on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, the Vice-Chancellor identified alumni associations as stakeholders in the growth and advancement of academic institutions.
This convocation meeting had in attendance eminent alumni including, former presidents of the University’s alumni body, Senator Dipo Odujinrin (1978-1980), Professor Olaide Abass, OON(2008-2013), President, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Asiwaju (Dr.) Michael Olawale-cole and others.
Professor Folasade T. Ogunsola, the Vice-Chancellor, opened the meeting and commended the University of Lagos Alumni Association Worldwide for their support and donations to various infrastructural and developmental projects on campus.
She mentioned that it should not relent in its support- so the campus keeps developing.
