The university of Lagos has a mission to collaborate with key industry players to groom students to be industry-ready- this is why the Havilah Group was received with great joy by the new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, FAS, on Friday, November 18, 2022.
The visit of Havilah Group, led by the Chairman/ Managing Director, Olanrewaju Adesuyi, congratulated the Vice-Chancellor for the notable feat of emerging as the first female VC of the University of Lagos.
They also wanted to celebrate her 64th birthday, which was on, Monday, November 14, 2022.
On that fateful day, Havilah Group donated books worth 20 Million Naira to UNILAG.
Professor Ogunsola was full of gratitude to the management of Havilah Group for recognizing the mission and supporting it with donations.
The Vice-Chancellor also informed them of the ongoing efforts to make the school library more attractive and user-friendly and the importance of these quality books.
The Havilah Group expressed support for the tenure of Professor Ogunsola and the university at large and wished her office success.
They also reiterated their strong desire and readiness to partner with the university to build future-fit students.
With this, one can say that the tenure of Professor Folasade Ogunsola, FAS, has started on a great note. What’s next?
